As a Cashier at Floor & Decor, you are the first and last point of contact for customers. Your role involves delivering exceptional customer service, handling transactions, managing returns, performing basic cash office duties, and ensuring every customer has a great experience.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide a polite and assisting welcome to all patrons.
• Connect with patrons, discuss their projects, and recommend relevant products.
• Aim to exceed customer expectations by providing exceptional service.
• Verify that employees are following the safety guidelines as required by the company.
• Support the primary ideologies of the company.
• Carry out sales and transactions seamlessly by leveraging the capabilities of the POS system.
• Carry out refunds and exchanges as outlined in the company's guidelines.
• Kick off and finish cash register tasks.
• Comply with the specified steps for processing cash, check, and credit card transactions.
• Engage with callers based on the company's guidelines for phone interactions.
• Arrange, label, and showcase inventory.
• Construct merchandise signs and price tags to convey information about products.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• Only those who have reached the age of 18 are allowed.
• Proficiency in fundamental math operations is necessary.
• Candidates with a customer service background are encouraged to apply.
• Flexibility to travel to alternative stores based on requirements.

Physical/Sensory Requirements:

• Ability to exert:
• There are circumstances where it is required to exert a force of 20-50 pounds periodically
• Uninterruptedly managing objects up to 10 pounds
• Persistent use of hands and fingers.
• Employees may occasionally need to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as part of their duties.
