Being a Cashier at Floor & Decor requires you to uphold the responsibility of being the first and last customer contact point. This entails offering exceptional customer service, handling transactions, processing returns, managing basic cash office tasks, and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

Essential Job Functions:

• Treat every customer with respect and offer helpful guidance.
• Communicate with customers, ask about their projects, and provide guidance on product selection.

• Make certain that company safety protocols are being complied with at all times.
• Preserve the central standards of the company.
• Utilize the POS system to handle sales and transactional activities smoothly.
• Execute refunds and exchanges based on the rules and regulations set by the company.
• Begin and end cash register functions.
• Follow the standard procedures for managing cash, check, and credit card transactions.
• Handle incoming calls according to company standards.
• Categorize, mark, and exhibit goods for customers.
• Craft signage and tags to inform customers of product prices and features.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• The eligibility criterion includes being 18 years of age or older.
• Competency in foundational math principles is crucial.
• Those with prior customer service experience will be given special attention.
• Ready to travel to other stores when required.

Physical/Sensory Requirements:

• Ability to exert:
• At times, it is essential to apply a force of 20-50 pounds
• Always dealing with weights up to 10 pounds
• Repeated use of hands and fingers.
